Traditional bread baking is becoming increasingly popular in London. There is a growing number of bakeries and cafés that serve homemade sourdough bread and several of them are Swedish. Some say it is very easy to make sourdough bread, but if you want the perfect bread it is always good to seek guidance from true experts.

Lucia is very much a favourite tradition in Sweden. The candlelit Lucia procession on 13 December is perhaps one of the more exotic-looking Swedish customs, with girls and boys clad in white full-length gowns singing songs together.

In 2013, the Swedish firm White Arkitekter won an international competition for the relocation of Kiruna – an Arctic town in the very north of Sweden. Kiruna 4-ever is a unique project and involves every citizen of Kiruna who is affected by the move. This is a project where a systems approach has been taken to its extreme.
