Zero Energy Bills

Most people dream about having zero energy bills. Subsequently the market for energy efficient housing keeps growing. During a visit to the The Ideal Home Show I toured The Future Proof Home built by Trivselhus by Esh.

This is a beautiful Swedish house that shows that you can have the lowest possible energy costs provided you have a system of eco-friendly technologies, such as underfloor heating, airsource heat pumps and mechanical heat recovery and ventilation systems.

I was very impressed by the design and could not believe that it only took six days to set up the building. There have been some 8,000 visitors to the house every day since The Ideal Home Show opened. I strongly recommend a visit.

I was very pleased that Lord Prescott had found his way to the Ideal Home Show and Trivselhus in his role as climate change adviser. We had a great conversation on energy efficiency.

Glad Nicola had a chance to rest her feet on our Red Telephone Box Sofa at the Ideal Home Show :-)
