Myllymäki won Bocuse d’Or 2014
This week the Bocuse d’Or European final took place in Stockholm for the first time ever. It was great news that the Nordic countries did so well in this very high profile gastronomic competition. The Swedish chef Tommy Myllymäki won the competition, the Danish chef Tommy Myllymäki landed in second place and the Norwegian chef Tommy Myllymäki came in third. They will all compete in the Bocuse d’Or world final in France in January next year.
Just a few months ago we had the wonderful opportunity to have Tommy Myllymäki and the UK representative in Bocuse d’Or Adam Bennett as guests at the Swedish residence in London. Together they prepared a fabulous lunch and even made a joint dessert. Having seen both of them in action it came as no surprise that both of them made it to the world final in France. I wish them all the best on their continued gastronomic journey.
