Sweden at London Fashion Week

This week Londoners had the opportunity to see the latest within the Swedish fashion industry at the London Fashion Week. There was quite an interest in the Swedish collections which is easy to understand with Swedish designers such as Carin Wester, Rodebjer, Maska, Stylein, Minimarket displaying their beautiful summer collections.

However, London Fashion Week is not only about fashion, but beautiful designs in various other fields. I admired Swedish innovative jewellery, high tech watches as well as transparent loudspeakers. There were Swedish designers as well as young entrepreneurs from TID, People People (with the transparent speaker that has become an instant hit in social media) and Mutewatch  that displayed their art/products. Then you had more traditional brands such as Palmgrens, Björn Axén as well as Electrolux.

The Swedish collections at the London Fashion Week clearly showed that Swedish design has a lot to offer and there is definitely no shortage of creativity and style.

The three day event was made possible through cooperation between the Swedish Embassy, Business Sweden UK, Make Lemonade Agency and Varg PR.
